Postage STamp Quilt

Project Description

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Doodle Stamp Link to website or photo www.etsy.com/listing/85461679/pdf-postage-stamp-quilt-pattern-from What are you most proud of? I am pleased that I made this quilt only using my stash and my sister's scraps. So don't throw those scraps away! If it's big enough to cut a 2 1/2" square, save it for this project. I'm also really happy with the lazy daisy quilting pattern I quilted on this quilt. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Do not let all of the cutting of the squares overwhelm you. The end result is well worth all of the cutting. Everything is based on 2 1/2". So you could do this quilt with a few precut jelly rolls.

Q&A with Quilt Doodle

Dear Denise asked:
OOPS! I am back again! It looks like all the whites are close or the same throughout this quilt.I wonder if you would share that detail with us? If one were going to using a batik Jelly Roll would you suggest auditioning other colours or would white be best?
Quilt Doodle answered:
I used a white/cream background color. I think this quilt would also look great in batiks! I think the skies the limit as to all the different options this quilt could be done in.
