Project Description

What are you most proud of? That I set my pride aside and embraced the "easiness." What advice would you give someone starting this project? It's really easy! (I got the pattern at my quilt shop. It has the website listed printed on it, but I could not locate the pattern on the website.)

What you will need

  • Bali Pops Grasshopper and other cotton fabric
  • 80/20 batting.

Q&A with Sue P.

Ipanema asked:
You chose your fabric well. Your quilt is very nice and I like the coordinated color scheme. I think it gives the quilt a certain elegance and is most pleasing to the eye.

A free pattern like this can be found at www.maryquilts.com. It's called Boxed Squares. I have made several and they are all pretty!
Sue P. answered:
Thanks! I have my copy, but this will help others.

I like your Boxed Squares. I do like squares, even though I have not worked with them yet. The juxtaposition of the square with the selected fabric is interesting, also the quilted circles adds a nice visual element to the Boxed Square quilt. I will look into the www.maryquilts.com Thanks.
Sue P. answered:
Thanks! This was a spectacularly easy quilt to make using a jelly roll.
