Q&A with Amanda

Gabisew asked:
This is beautiful
Amanda answered:
Thank-you! I loved Jodie's design as soon as I saw it! :-)
MamaPris asked:
I really like your quilt - the fabrics are beautiful and the pattern could easily be enlarged for bigger blocks - using a layer cake - make one for yourself too! :)
Amanda answered:
That's tempting! I have just finished a huge log cabin quilt for me :-)
Maimie asked:
Very nicely done. I am going to try to make this for a lady at work who is having a baby girl. Beautiful work! Thank you for sharing.
Amanda answered:
Jodie's design is lovely - I'm sure your quilt will be great and your colleague will love it! The only thing i changed was to make a few less prairie points and not overlap them, just to make it easier to sew.
Allison McNeese asked:
Very pretty!!
Amanda answered:
Thank-you! :-)
homie asked:
I never could find the pattern after clicking on the free pattern above. I also cannot find the Moda fabric that is suggested.
Amanda answered:
Hi, I just checked the link and it is fine - this quilt was posted a few years ago so you do need to search for the pattern. I typed in 'baby pinwheel quilt' and it came up straight away on the Moda Bakeshop site. I'm afraid the fabric will have been discountinued by now, the company's don't keep the lines going for long. I have made this several times with different fabrics and it always looks lovely - perhaps you could find a charm pack you like? Hope this helps.
