Pennsylvania shop hop

Project Description

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Patterns provided by participating shops Link to website or photo https://www.facebook.com/PARowbyRow What are you most proud of? 1. Finishing it 2. Designing one row myself What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you never machine quilted before, take the time to learn first. I faked my way through about half the quilt, then took the time to watch lessons from the Craftsy course, "Design it, Quilt it: Free form techniques."By the second lesson, I had improved tremendously. The instruction in this course is worth every penny I paid for it. Cindy Needham, the instructor "rescued" my quilt and gave me the will to complete it.

What you will need

  • Cottons
  • mostly from my stash
  • some were fabric kits from the shops.

Whohoo! What a great hop - state(s) wide over a long period. My kind of thing. Alas, I moved from MD 3 yrs ago. Love your quilt. And congrats on the win!
MamaThadeus answered:
Thank you. It was a great hop. I actually visited a bunch of other shops with fall theme/ color blocks to make a second one because it was so much fun.

MamaThadeus answered:
Thank you. As a proud creator of many UFO's, it was great to finish a project for a change.
