Papr Pieced Pinwheel

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I would definately recommend this class to everyone. I have been a paper piecer for nearly 15 years but this class opened my eyes to a much easier way to piece with strips! It was so easy and Peggy Martin is an excellant teacher. She explains/demonstrates each step in the process and even demonstrates what to do if you make a mistake during a particular step. It's wonderful!

  • I used fabric from Moda's Portugal line. I used regular 20 weight copy paper and shortened my stitch length to 1.6. Paper came off very easy. I've had this fabric for several years and never got around to making the Portugal quilt pattern. I think it looks great in this pinwheel block. Haven't made up my mind yet as to whether I will make a quilt or just a pillow. I'm anxious to try the other block patterns in this class.
