Ohio Star lap quilt

What are you most proud of? Finishing this lap quilt after 8 years is what I am proud of. I started this project when we lived in Turkey in 2002. I took the project with me to Japan, Germany, and now in England. I finished the quilt on October 23, 2010. I wasn't taught how to bind, and I didn't even know how to cut the bias strips. Thanks to professionals and their publications I was able to follow their step-by-step instructions. What advice would you give someone starting this project? As most quilters do, take one block at a time. Who knows when you'll finish one especially if you have a full time job outside home ;-)
