What are you most proud of? It was a first project, it was big, I had no idea about what I was getting into, I did the whole thing on a 1950"s Singer machine, and I finished it. It is really pretty in person and the colors do work together. Because the top is so vibrant, I used a white on white pattern for the quilt back in case the owner needs to give their eyes a rest, LOL! What advice would you give someone starting this project? It was a first project and I wasn't sure if I would be able to get through it. But, a friend told me to just get to the finish on the first quilts (before moving on) and you will feel like you accomplished something. I did and I did, so now I am hooked on quilting. Just call me the thread and fabric junkie!! BTW, after pulling this quilt and a king-sized quilt through that Singer machine (what a work horse), which was HARD, I went into a shop and saw a long-arm. That is when I decided that I needed to learn how to use the long-arm. So I did and now my larger quilts are done on the long-arm.
