Thank you! The "hair" is merely acrylic double knitting yarn. I wrapped it around a card and cut it along one side to make a sort of fringe.. I then (having listened faithfully to your good advice) put some tracing paper on top and machined along it with matching thread and a long machine stitch. I then arranged some of it on top of the head and machined it on (as you demonstrated with the wool roving). Another layer followed and I finished by giving her a haircut! It's not what I really wanted to do, but not having any roving and being far too impatient to order some off the internet and wait for it to arrive, I improvised. I think she needs a hat or a bow or something to cover up the top bit of the hair, where it's sewn on, as the sewing is a bit obvious. Thank you so much for this course - I'm thoroughly enjoying myself!
