Project

Nirvana Wall Hanging

What are you most proud of? I really like how the Buddha head turned out! I took a picture, and blew it up to be about 22 X 25 inches - then printed it on thin paper, and used 505 spray baste to attach it to the quilt sandwich, then FMQ'd away, following the lines [sort of]. I also like the color combination - orange for the robes the monks wear, and Buddha is usually painted gold, so the color scheme was a no brainer to me. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just have fun and go with the flow. I'm learning to not stress so much over the tiny imperfections that aren't even noticeable once all is said and done, so that's what I say to you, don't stress, don't worry, be happy, and smile, like Buddha. Namaste'.
