My very own quilting work space!

Project Description

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Room of My Own: Sewing Space Link to website or photo http://www.craftsy.com/project/view/room Tell us more about what inspired you. Shoestring's sewing space What are you most proud of? This used to be our study but I have taken over half of it and turned it into my lovely new space which means no more tidying away my work when I want to entertain as I had been working in my dining room. I am so pleased with the table that my son-in-law gave me which is just perfect and my other son-in-law made my shelves. So thankful for their generosity. What advice would you give someone starting this project? This has been so much fun going through my fabric stash and organising it and now I can see at a glance what I have and need.

What you will need

  • Our study
  • well I have taken over half of it... I left a little bit of space for my husband! A table for sewing
  • shelves for storing fabric
  • batting
  • quilting mags/books
  • notions and unfinished quilts and projects. (I still need a good chair and travel iron)

Oh, Yummy Desna. Now, no more excuses. I want to see some action on your Stack and Whack. You are blessed indeed to have the family help. Makes it so much easier. If anything like my hubby, they are glad to have the pins off the dining room table and the rugs in every room. LOL
desna answered:
Haha surfside I came upon my book and rulers for it and thought of you. I have a few sensory quilts I have to finish for my new little grandkids then I promise to try it out
