My Janome Stitch Bible

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Had the time to play with it... something I never did with my other 2 sewing machines, hence I never used the decorative stitches..... with this machine I now have reference to how they look & will definitely use them. What advice would you give someone starting this project? It's worth doing... you get to see how threads behave & gives you a visual to refer to at any time.... you can dress the book up - I didn't because I actually like the idea I can also see the treads hanging over the edge and get a feel for their weight & color without it all being precise & neat....it was a personal choice. :))

What you will need

  • Cotton/Embroidery Threads

Q&A with circle of five

mquilter asked:
I love this book. I have a Bernina 820 and I know I never use all the stitches that are available. Do you have a corresponding page that tells you what stitch and settings, thread used, etc so you know at a glance? I always think I'll remember what I did the last time, but I never do. LOL

Hi Mustang, I just uploaded a photo of my New & Old Janome Sewing Machines.... both work beautifully, I take the old on the road, and leave the new at home in my sewing room.
