My FMQ for Block of the Month squares

What are you most proud of? I was so scared of ruining the block all the work I've put into piecing it, but I am thrilled that I was able to have the courage to FMQ and now I don't think I will stitch in the ditch with a straight foot again. What advice would you give someone starting this project? practice, and go for it!

Q&A with sewmom204

4bird2 asked:
I feel the same way, glad to hear I'm not alone. I have been practicing on other pieces, getting a little bit of confidence. Your work looks great, I hope you feel proud of yourself.
sewmom204 answered:
I do machine embroidery also and I learned we are our own worst critics. After I finished the paisley pattern on block one I did not like it at all but then the more Iooked at it the more it grew on me and I noticed the mistakes less and less. Just go for it, you'll get it.
Virginiaquilter asked:
Did you mark your designs prior to quilting or did you just design as you quilted? Looks great either way but just wondered. I love to free hand but it doesn't look this great..
sewmom204 answered:
Virginia, I marked the corners like Leah suggested and tried to meet up with them best I could. This is my very first attempt at FMQ and I am tickled pink that it turned out as well as it did. I still have to work on scale. Thank you for your sweet encouraging comments.
