My First Stitch and Slash

What are you most proud of? It's not a UFO any more! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't sew your free-motion foot to the project when you are stitching under the flaps! Unless you really intend to add it as embellishment! LOL

Q&A with Beadywoman

DeeAnna asked:
I like how it turned out and thanks for the tips!!! :-D
Beadywoman answered:
Thanks, D - it was lots of fun!
HelenEliz asked:
I like it... wasn't it fun and yes you will be doing more of it right?
Beadywoman answered:
Thanks, HelenEliz. It was fun! Stress-busting, too! LOL
Carol Ann Waugh asked:
Cheap fabric is perfect for this technique since it frays better! (Loose weave!) I love this piece and the colors you chose are fabulous. The contrast of the couching and the dark lines was a perfect touch. Nice!
Beadywoman answered:
Carol, I consider this to be very high praise indeed! Thank you!
