Q&A with Ladymax

cari2rcky asked:
look at you! love the bright colours!
Ladymax answered:
Hi, I haven't heard from you for a while. Thanks for your comments. This is a great quilt to make, large or small.
QuiltDude asked:
I've been wanting to try my hand at an Irish Chain block, and seeing how wonderful yours turned out inspires me to actually start! This looks sooo good, Ladymax! It caught me eye as I was scrolling through the quilting posts and then I saw you made it, so I had to tell you what a great quilt this is. The gray "chain" frames the autumn colors perfectly. Thanks for posting and inspiring me. If I figured it correctly, this quilt is about 56 -57 inches square right?
Ladymax answered:
QuiltDude, once again you say just the right thing to make me feel good about what I make, many thanks. I really thought that the Irish Chain was very difficult, but Amy's instructions are easy to follow. The size is 48" square and the blocks are 12". Go for it and make sure you post your photos.
