Well you know... I see all the mistakes. My tension was a bit off in places, my in-the-ditch quilting wasn't totally in-the-ditch, that kind of thing. I was surprised to see a ribbon on it, I really was.

Cathy Geier answered:
Hi Joey, I invented my piecing technique - I use a tear away foundation and a glue stick... it sound complicated, but it is easier than piecing all those squares together! It is written up in my book Watercolor Landscape Quilts which is for sale at my site cathygeier.com. I don't mean to plug the thing, but without illustrations it is hard to explain how I do what I do. Thanks for the heart and the compliments. :)
