Mom says it's me!!!

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I'm just proud of the fact that I finished it. Making clothes has begun to bore me...takes too long...now I can create something and enjoy it or give it as a gift within a few days or even the same day. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take your time...especially with the ear. Next time I'll do Van Gogh, from his left side!

What you will need

  • Some fabric in my "stash"
  • fusible interfacing and fleece
  • color pencils
  • textile medium
  • some trim from my "stash"
  • broken jewelry pieces

I love how the flowers fit in! Very good job!!

Thanks...I wasn't too sure about the one on her forehead...I thought it looked like a birthmark!
Lola Jenkins asked:
This is over the top beautiful. Anyone who sees this will not believe that it is your first time doing anything. It is high quality gorgeous. I cannot see any mistakes. My hat is off to you and I am bending over to give you an applause.
CapeCodRed answered:
I am so honored. Thank you. I am hyper-critical and see every flaw. My mother says "you dust your house with a Q-tip when no one else can see the dust!"
skowron5 asked:
That is beautiful. You should be proud of it. This class was so much fun. I want to make another, but have too many other things going. I am finding that art quilts are becoming my favorites.
CapeCodRed answered:
Thank You...I, too, am very busy...not to mention tired after work. But I so enjoyed doing this. This is going to be my favorite too!
Nanta Lynn asked:
CapeCodRed answered:
