Modern madness

The last photo shows it finished. In choosing an improv modern quilt as my project, I decided to do it without any direction other than colours, slices, angles and curves. The big challenge was figuring out how to put all the pieces together with the background. A bit of a geometry refresher. Also, cutting curves with many seams in the pieces was interesting. Marking became critical. One major goal was to try new free motion quilting patterns on my new long arm. Haven't finished yet and will update upon completion.
