Millies For Ever Quilt

What are you most proud of? How the pictures turned out. I stitched them into the quilt instead of on top of the quilt like I have seen so many do. I feel the yellow brought out the colors on the pictures also. I have such a tendency to go for dark colors I think now I like the spring colors. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Get pictures the same size and in the same direction. I had to really work at getting the blocks the same size which was tough because some pictures were landscape and the others were portrait.
