Millennium Star

I wanted to use nautical fabric for this and to me the blue and orange version looks too busy. I am happier with my second blue & yellow attempt. I made these two 16" pillow shams by printing the pattern out at 100% instead of 125%. I then reduced each strip width by 25%.

Q&A with nadomom

Gray La Gran asked:
I know the yellow one is your favorite, but the blue & orange one is absolutely beautiful!
nadomom answered:
Awww, shucks! Thank you!
Peggy Martin asked:
I think they BOTH look gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing, and mentioning how you used the pattern from the book that is included with the class. I have had several students who made the Millennium Star in a smaller size - you did a great job with your math, and your quilting, too!
nadomom answered:
I'm honored that you think so! Thank you so much! I neglected to mention that the pillows are both the same, one showing the back and one the front. But you probably know that.
