Midnight Garden Fireworks

Project Description

What are you most proud of? I'm quite happy with the finished product and it looks really good with a light on it. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Let it all hang out...and remember what Carol says....no mistakes and no rules!

What you will need

  • I threw everything but the kitchen sink at this project...paint sticks
  • machine stitches
  • hand stitching

Thank you so much. I was trying to find yours but didn't have any luck. I'll look again. I just hung mine and it looks a lot better with light on it.
Julie L. asked:
Lovely! As I went through the course I was wondering about using machine embroidery. You did a great job.
duzysg1325873 answered:
Thank you...these are so much fun to do!
AnnJones asked:
This is so inspiring. I'm in the process of choosing my fabric. This dark background is perfect for all the stitching!!!
duzysg1325873 answered:
Thank you Ann. I'm going to try another one soon and brighten it up a little...this one shines a lot in the light...there's more glitz on it than shows in the pic...the final sprays of fireworks are made on the embroidery machine using metallic thread then cut out and sewn on by hand...adds some dimension.
