PamelaMarie asked:
You really did an awesome job on this quilt! The colors really please my eyes and your work is precision! I hope you will accept the compliments because you work very hard on this "hard" quilt. I don't want to offend you, but I would rather hear you say something like quilt was hard but it brings such joy and sense of accomplishment. The rewards are great. You can share that with everyone who attempts this quilt. Including me! Will you cheer me on? I have a special antique nautical 2 twin bedroom set that I inherited from my grandma. I want to make 2 quilts. One for each bed and then have my son who is a Coast Guard Port Security man deployed to Kuwait twice. This quilt and bedrooms set will be a tribute to his service. God Bless our men and women so far from home.
pw_quiltworks answered:
That would be wonderful. He will love it. It's wonderful to pass on history and love. Thank you for your nice compliments. I will say this...I was glad to have done this quilt. It made me a better quilter...I think. Most of it went along pretty good. There was a lot of paper piecing in it. I liked that part. The little triangles was the hardest part.
