Love my New Orleans Saints!!

Project Description

What are you most proud of? This is my first stitch and slash project. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go for it! You may not like everything about your first finished project, but it's all a learning experience. "Trial and error" is the only way to learn this technique to your satisfaction. There is always a next project.

What you will need

  • Light-weight upholstery fabric for the base
  • quilting cottons for the top-three layers.

Karin S answered:
Thanks, Lisa. I really love your "Still Life" project. It's very ingenious how you used the printed fabric to provide the background. Great idea. It will definitely go into my "tips for the future". Thanks for sharing.
