Q&A with Sewingnana11

j-day14516 asked:
LOve this baby quilt, is there instructions?
Sewingnana11 answered:
Was just a log cabin pattern....used a bigger center square so I could use the whole picture and then think a lot of the design comes from the way I quilted it.....thanks for your comments. Had 3 baby quilts to do this winter so they kept me busy.
patz in suffolk asked:
This has a lovely three-dimensional effect! You say "these" quilts - did you make two in the end, one for each of the twins? And did you know whether they'd be boys or girls? This looks as if it might be a blue quilt for a little boy - but I think blue is suitable for either! It's lovely!

Thank you for all your comments....I did do 3 baby quilts...blue, pink and purple and a primary color one.
Flyingwaldo asked:
I would love to find this pattern.... can anyone help?
Sewingnana11 answered:
Hi.. This was a basic log cabin block. I used some precious moments fabric for the center square and fussy cut them. It was fabric I have had for a very long time.. I tried to use up Francis from my stash for the light and dark logs. Think what gave it the design was the quilting I did around the center block and then from the corners. I did three of them..the blue and green, a pink, purple and yellow and one in primary colors. Was happy with each of them and hope the new moms and babies were!
