Lizzy's Quilt

What are you most proud of? That three generations quilted on this quilt. I hand quilted the borders and my mom, myself and my little 5 year old worked on it! She learned to do stitching on the drawn line and tie knots in some of the other squares. Her little stitches are precious to me. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't take so long to finish! :)

it's a wonderful thing to share with your kids. I LOVE hanging out with them doing creative things...they'll be there before you know it, the little one working with this on me is only 5
