What are you most proud of? I finally gave double layers of batting a try. I like the texture of the puff batting. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take a break from the traditional. A circular feather stencil might have been easier to quilt, but I think the curvy feather spine is fun.

Nice job, The double batting gives nice definition. I have also used cotton with a split wool batt like cindy Needham suggests which I also like. Design of the feather is great. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. Yeah, I will definitely give the cotton and split wool a try. I like the definition in this project but wondered if there was something that gives definition, but not too puffy.
