What was your source for this quilting project? Other What are you most proud of? This was finished in a day, including the embellishment. It's very roughly quilted, but the result is quite satisfying. My great-grandson, Leon is now two and a half years old and I think that he'll appreciate it this year - especially when it has all the little presents and sweets inside! What advice would you give someone starting this project? It's really easy. The panel has full instructions printed on it and it would be very difficult for even the newest quilter to go wrong! The pockets are cut out and sewn onto the panel first, then the quilt sandwich is made by the "bagging out" method (no binding) and, finally you can quilt it as much or as little as you like and then embellish with sequins and beads for a nice festive look. Finally, make a hanging sleeve and it will be ready to use, starting on 1st December, right up until Christmas Eve!
