Q&A with Sconehead

Tara Rebman asked:
Your craftsy name makes me smile! It looks fantastic! Nicely done. (This is gonna be awkward. Did you know that you cut your fold on the wrong side? You aren't the only one, I just wonder if the opening for the straps is big enough to go over your shoulder?)
Sconehead answered:
I wondered about that, but it was too late once I got started, but it actually fits perfectly and makes the bag just a wee bit bigger (which I can always use! :-)) Thanks for a great class, I had a great time making it!
dencopela asked:
Love your fabrics (especially the people and the musical instruments). Your binding looks perfect. I like how your different sized shapes as well as your choice of cool and warm colors makes the eye travel- its like an optical vacation. I believe you will really enjoy using your bag!
Sconehead answered:
I LOVE it!! "Optical vacation" That is AWESOME!! Thank you!! I did also sew the binding by hand as I thought it would look better. I used an old pair of shorts that I had cut out probably 20 years ago and never made for the binding. It was super fun to get it all out of my stash.
