Large Tapestry Tote

What are you most proud of? I love the colors and I love to arrange each square so they will look nice. And I love decorating the bags with the cording, all kinds, and on this one I had fun adding buttons. Some of them came from New York City. I shopped for buttons in the garment district while my husband attended meetings. So I guess I am proud of the way it all came together with color and trimmings. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I bought some of the quilter's grid interfacing and laid my blocks out on that and they went together much neater. In fact, I love to use quilter's grid for cottons, and it will make perfect squares. Using the tapestry took a little more attention, however, because some of the fabrics were into the upholstery thicknesses. But I still used some of them, anyway.
