KKM Craftsy Block of the Month 2012

Project Description

What are you most proud of? UPDATE - This quilt won a 3rd Place Ribbon in the Medium Pieced group at Mountain Quiltfest in Pigeon Forge. The quilting. I learned so much from Leah's class. Some of the stitches will take much more practice to perfect than just doing one or two blocks, but I have quilting patterns now that I can use on other projects as I improve. This is one of my top-ten all time favorite projects. This quilt is staying with me. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Buy all of the supplies that Leah suggests. Also, if you are new to quilting or free motion, I would strong suggest that you quilt this sampler using the Block by Block method. You have greater ease in moving the quilt around and the techniques Leah provides for quilting the blocks together is excellent. Loved this class and this project.

Beautiful. I just ordered my fabric fron craftsy for the 2012 block of the month. I am going to use the Moda Happy Go Lucky fat quarters and Kona bleached white. I sure hope I can make a quilt as beautiful as this.
