KIOSHI

What are you most proud of? I think I captured his true essence in this quilt, and as it was the first time I had attempted to make a quilt without a pattern I think it turned out really well. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Choose simple subject and one that you know well, start with black and white as it is much easier to work in just two colors.

Q&A with Mary Geehan

Handpiecer asked:
Love it. The quilting really makes the quilt! I know you'll fondly remember your beloved pet every time you see it.
Mary Geehan answered:
Thank you, I was surprised how easy it was to make the quilt top, the hardest was getting the eyes just right, and I struggled on how to quilt it,, but I am happy with how it turned out.
