Project Description

What are you most proud of? It came out beautifully. What advice would you give someone starting this project? I had to use a 4.5" circle.

Q&A with crazihippichic

shazdove asked:
Love how you showed your process, very nice block
crazihippichic answered:
Thank you. This one is so much fun.
NanaJeanFL asked:
Another very unique and beautiful block with your vintage fabrics! I love your photos of the process and that wonderful machine too. Great work!
crazihippichic answered:
Thanks, Jean. It was the best $25 I ever spent when I brought home that 1915 White Rotary treadle machine. She is perfect for piecing quilts. And now that I finally figured out how to properly wind a bobbin on her (the manuals from that era are rather vague) I love her even more.
Krs asked:
The 30s prints are perfect for this block!
crazihippichic answered:
Yes, I agree. :-)
Elaine Lasater asked:
Perfect! Your center is absolutely perfect. I love the retro fabrics - it just feels like that's what makes a quilt. E.
crazihippichic answered:
Thanks, Elaine. Everyone seems to enjoy this block. I think it's my favorite.
