Q&A with mpac5000

Cherine Fleyfel asked:
I love the heart that you embroidered in the middle of the square - sweet!
mpac5000 answered:
Thanks
Ladybev asked:
Always super work! This is your pastel version, you have Christmas covered & there are also the blocks with black! Do you like quilting! Lol
mpac5000 answered:
Thanks. I am enjoying working on these blocks. I have the 2 sets only. I wish I had used a black background but that will need to be another set.
Pamillia asked:
Beautiful, I really like your blocks. Well done. Thank you for sharing.
mpac5000 answered:
Thanks

Saw you on Stitchery Dickory Dock/ or at the fb blog, following Amy's twins. So thrilled she had a safe delivery for all. No one seems to bring it up on the Craftsy sight, so I thought I'd touch base with you. Saw a few others on her sight, but not many of the BOM quilters sending prayers & chit chat. So happy for her & of course her new family. Aren't her girls so cute and Amy is just beaming in her picture with the girls. I feel like I know her personally. What an ambitious woman!

The babies look wonderful and 3.5 lbs is a really good weight. I am also surprised that there has not been any mention of Amy's situation with the babies. Since the change in format, we seem to have lost a lot of the regulars.
Ladybev asked:
I only saw the first picture of one of the babies, in the first 20 hrs. For her pregnancy length of time, I guess her babies were lucky to be that weight and healthy too. I wonder if 5 lbs is a "going home" weight, these days? As for Craftsy, I was answering a comment, and saw how things in format changed! What's with changing all the time? A warning/ explanation would help. I like the "Talk" section a lot and I do like it when you post a new piece that it lands in this "Recents..." section I will be in touch. So happy for Amy!
mpac5000 answered:
The 5 lb rule is no longer in effect. I have a friend whose grandbaby was 4.5 lbs when she came home. They are at an age that they will shortly be able to take a nipple or at least take in breast milk. 34 weeks is a magic cut of f. Looks like their lungs were full developed etc. I am looking forward to new updates.
