What are you most proud of? I made those circles without an embroidery machine and without a free form foot. You can tell they're not perfect, but that makes it all the more interesting, right? What advice would you give someone starting this project? Rayon or viscose jerseys are very stretchy, which may be difficult both to cut out and sew, especially if you are combining with other jersey knits. I suggest to cut out the pieces on a large, flat, surface. When you are sewing, don't stretch while you stitch, and go fairly slowly. If you are combining with a less stretchy jersey, sew with the rayon jersey on the bottom; it will help you from getting wavy stitching lines. When slashing your design, scissors work better than a seam ripper. Though a seam ripper can get you started, I found that it does not leave clean lines and jersey doesn't really give you the tension you need to rip through cleanly anyway.
