Jill's Turtle Quilt Ensemble

What was your source for this quilting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo flying geese Link to website or photo quilterscache.com What are you most proud of? I have been quilting for over 20 years and I rarely use a pattern when I create my projects. For a project like this, the patchwork would be something easy, such as Flying Geese. I still make mistakes, rip out the stitching. I still learn from my mistakes when I create something new. I am proud that I can think ""outside the box"" and every project is a new challenge. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use a pattern and a kit, or ask someone who is an experienced quilter with this project.

You Can Make This

JillsQuilt made Jill's Turtle Quilt Ensemble with:

  • 100% cotton fabric-assorted colors for the triangles
  • polyester bating
  • iron on transfer paper(for the turtle pillow photo)

Q&A with JillsQuilt

Karen McBride asked:
I take it that you made the stuffed turtle also?
JillsQuilt answered:
Nope. That was store bought. That gives me an idea. I'm sure there is a pattern for that.
