Q&A with The Quiltdiva

mimis quilts asked:
absolutely wonderful. did you keep the blocks the origional size? I am planning a queen size for my daughter made up of indigo and white/tea dyed japanese and assorted other fabrics. I think I will need to repeat many of my blocks as there does not seem to be as many choices for my color scheme. I am right now trying to decide if I just keep adding rows or do a border to increase the size?
The Quiltdiva answered:
Just add rows..9-10 both ways for a queen...Thanks!
Kalley asked:
This pattern is called DOUBLE DIAMOND in Kaffe's book .. QUILT GRANDEUR.
The Quiltdiva answered:
No it,s not,the quilt was made long before that book and pattern was published...please don,t reply to questions ... The quilt is based on Bordered Diamonds from Simple Shapes
