Jacob's Ladder Quilt almost finished

Project Description

What are you most proud of? It is not perfect but I have learnt from my mistakes. Just have to add the batting and backing fabric and do the binding. I am pleased that I have done this quilt as a starting out point for this particular course. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Go with straight quarter inch seams rather than scant, then I think my seams would have matched up more easily as they have done on other projects I have done in Australia.

What you will need

  • 100% pure cotton
  • Raisant thread
  • bernina sewing machine

It's just beautiful! I am just a learner and love the way people fit a nice pattern for the top of the bed and then wide panels/borders for the sides. Did you have an actual pattern for it?
