House Shield quilt

What are you most proud of? I ran out of the solid gray fabric for the back so I had to use a different fabric for the borders on the backside. Using the medallion method means the borders look like I planned it that way. What advice would you give someone starting this project? The medallion method is a good way of using the larger pieces of batting left over from other quilting projects, as long as you use the same type of batting. Also, as the instructor suggests, make sure you trim each section before adding the next panel or border.
