Half square triangles Chevron quilt

What are you most proud of? Speed of the project and accuracy of the points. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use lots of spray starch when ironing your triangles because the edges of your squares are now bias edges and can become distorted. The crispness the starch adds will help when you go to square up your blocks. This will also help a lot with getting those points aligned. Also, play around with laying out your half square triangles. The different designs are limitless!

You Can Make This

Q&A with JNF

ConfectionerCC asked:
I usually don't care for the chevron pattern, but I love this! Awesome job!
JNF answered:
Thanks!
mandib27 asked:
I am enrolled in the quilting quickly 2, want to do the 1 st one listed here. I was wondering dose she show how to do the chevron in this lesson? before i purchase this video class probably will anyway I love Jenny. Just curious.
JNF answered:
No, she doesn't do the chevron pattern, she does a pinwheel. but it is just a matter of turning each half square triangle to get the pattern. I was mostlly interested in learning a new quicker technique for doing half square triangles.
