Q&A with Quiltinjeni

Redgecko asked:
Love that horse. How did you do it?
Quiltinjeni answered:
My kindergarten skills are paying off! I used a lightbox to trace the design onto the fabric and then painted in the horse with a mix of aloe vera gel (as a thickener)/fabric medium and derwent intense pigments (block form and paint brush). A bit of iridescent medium thinned with water was brushed on after the fabric dried (I also iron to set the colors). Thanks!
