Greek Cross BOM June #1

Project Description

What was your inspiration? I'd put a fairy in the middle of one of the earlier blocks and liked it, so decided to add another one to make the Greek Cross a bit more interesting (although I suppose it isn't really a Greek Cross any more).

What you will need

  • Scrap cotton fabrics

Q&A with patz in suffolk

Pamillia asked:
Your block is very pretty. I like how you have fussy cut your little fairies in a couple of your blocks. Your color combos really make your blocks pop. Beautiful blocks, very well done. :-)
patz in suffolk answered:
Thank you - the fairies came into it by accident (or was it magic?). Not intended for anyone in particular, but I'm sure it will find a home as I have four granddaughters and one great-granddaughter, plus two daughters, a step-daughter and a granddaughter-in-law!
desna asked:
Your Greek Cross is beautiful, I really do LOVE your fabrics so much this is going to be a wonderful quilt, can not wait to see the finished quilt.
patz in suffolk answered:
Thank you. I've still got four blocks to do in order to catch up, but am having a bit of trouble getting a template sorted out for the Drunkard's Path blocks!
