Going to the Chapel

What are you most proud of? I have always loved the look of a double wedding ring quilt, but not making the curves. I designed this quilt to have the look of a double wedding ring but used a garden maze design to eliminate the curves. Also, the hands were difficult to design. I used my own hands as a model as I drew the design. I'm not an artist but I really like the way that block turned out. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make it your own by designing appliqu motifs that fit your purpose and circumstances. This design could easily be translated into a full sized quilt. If you don't like appliqu, consider using pre-printed blocks.
