Very, very nice!
mimis quilts answered:
thank you. the fish squares are 11" so you have some idea of how big they are!
Gabisew asked:
Very nice, you have been busy! I love all these bright colors. I must make a quilt in this pallet.
mimis quilts answered:
thanks. I did this in a weekend and it was so nice to have a quick one to sew up.

I just LOVE this!!! It makes me feel like home. I grew up in southern Florida and have family in the Florida Keys. My cousin and I used to catch tropical fish to sell to a local guy who shipped them all over. I've always loved their bright colors and wished I had a salf water aquarium. If I can find this fabric I just have to make one too. How many charm packs did you use? Thanks so much for sharing. It's just gorgeous - one of the best things I've seen on Craftsy.
mimis quilts answered:
Thank you so very much. I have a sister living in Florida. the fabric is Brandon Mably's new spring line(for the fish) and I used about 4 charm pacs- only because I picked out only the red ones. I have enough left to make another in either yellow or a combination of red and yellow.
NanaJeanFL asked:
I just noticed you bought the charm squares from Craftsy. I didn't know they sold anything other than patterns. Looked under the "Deals" tab and found a few charm packs. Is that the only place they sell fabric? And do you get any kind of notice via email on things they have for sale? Thanks in advance!
mimis quilts answered:
You found the place. I get the notices via my email but cant remember when that started -after I bought or by asking to be notified. the deals are pretty good, at least for me in Canada because our fabrics are just soooo expensive.
