Frog's Rule

What are you most proud of? The variety of stitches on my blocks. I had fun just figuring out what might go well with each construction. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Follow Kimmy's advice and suggestions. She definitely knows what she's doing. Go slow and have fun!

Q&A with Gail in OK

marls asked:
Love it. Great embroidery and your quilting looks fantastic. Well .Done
Gail in OK answered:
Thank you very much. This was a really fun quilt to work on, especially since it was for me! ;-)
johellen asked:
Duper impressive crosshatching! Would you be willing to share your method? Are you pre-marking or using the ruler to position parallel lines? Were there any odd-size areas to deal with? It looks great!
Gail in OK answered:
I used a ruler "Stitch in the ditch" by off the edge, keeping in mind that my distance was short and I could span it with the ruler. I also tic marked some of the areas for any needed adjustments. I'm really anxious to use more curved cross hatching. :-D Thank you for commenting.
Kimmy Brunner asked:
I love this whimsical quilt! Your quilting choices are so perfect, and really do suit the quilt to a T. Great job!
Gail in OK answered:
Thanks you so much Kimmy! I love rulers, templates...and quilting!!
