Project Description

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't give up! Ask for help from Craftsy friends if you run into a dead end. Thank you, thank you!! The narrow bright pink border idea was sheer genius! I'm so glad to have this completed!

Absolutely beautiful!
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Thank you.
desna asked:
Fantastic... Oh I love all the different blocks and the fabric is just perfect
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Thank you! It was fun to create the blocks.
Arlene C asked:
This is incredibly beautiful. What fabric line did you use. What did you use for a backing and how long did it take? You should be proud.
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Oh, thank you! I chanced upon the tropical print at Joann's several years ago and it sat in my stash for a long time. The other fabrics are bits and pieces of from here and there, mainly my scrap stash. The backing is the same green that is in the setting triangles. I think I spent one summer, off and on between other things, to make the blocks and put the quilt top together and then it sat again for two years before I dragged it out and finished it.
Sandra in CA asked:
That is really beautiful. I love how the blocks are all different, but they go together so well.
K Lee 2Strings answered:
Thank you so much! I've been eyeing your "Cats and Chocolate" and wondering how the technique will work with another set of floral prints I have sitting in my drawer.
