Fabulous! Bravo, worth.every minute (how long.did it take?)
my apologies for not replying sooner - took me a bit to find the activity on the new page......this took me 6 months to make - I did the online class BOM 2012 and then I quilted it with Leah Day's tutorial on free motion quilting and putting it together with quilt as you go - of course I had to do my own thing and add enough blocks and borders to make it fit a king bed - wow - it was amazing when done - birthday gift for our son! He loved it.
Wow! That's stunning. Great work!
Thank you so much - It was worth every minute and hopefully a treasured gift for our older son!
I love the colours, how clever are you keeping few but strong colours I wish I had your vision it looks great!!
I loved the colors too - but chose them because it was a quilt for our son and I wanted it to be colorful and tasteful for a guy! He loves it!
looks awesome. I am almost finished mine. just have borders to put onto it. and then quilt it. :)
Lots of work - I put mine together quilt as you go! It was definitely a long haul but worth it. I learned so much.
Very nice! The quilting just makes it!
Thank you Judy - The quilting was definitely a great lesson - using Leah Day's tutorials and online class - It is reversible but I haven't taken the picture of the back yet - I will have to do that when I get back from Arizona - I finished it the night before we left and it is on our son's bed. He loves it. The reversible side is in a diamond pattern - black, brown, whites with a bit of red thrown in.
