Figure-Ground Exploration

What are you most proud of? I made 12" traditional Churn Dash blocks for this exploration. There is such a dramatic difference between the "all large-scale" block and the "large-scale plus tone-on-tone" block. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Work it out from your own stash and see what happens! Then share so that we can all learn from each other's work as well.
