Family dogs from photos to wallhangings

I used Susan Carlson's methods of raw edge appliqué and creating quilted wallhanging from photos to fabric as described in her book Free-Style Quilts and Serendipity Quilts. I love this method I find it very liberating to create my own patterns for personalized unique wallhangings. Using raw edge appliqué and free motion quilting. I can create any subject I can take a photo of on my phone.

Prezipoo asked:
Hi, where can i find out how to make this ?
dcrusco999316152 answered:
I used a lot of the information in Susan Carlson's first book, Free Style Quilts. There is a section of the book on how to make your own pattern from a photo. She also has a free blog that explains the whole process in great detail.
