Erin's Wedding Gift

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Keeping in mind what the end result would be like as I worked. (on my next project I hope to use feathers!) I made it for my niece as a wedding gift. Her colors were quite conservative and so was her design style as I checked out her gift registry. I decided on this design because of her Irish ancestry which reminded me of Celtic type designs. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have confidence in what you learned. It does work! Because of the blue markings on the front, I would turn the piece over to check out my progress. This helped me make decisions about what to do next without having to "ignore" the blue markings.

What you will need

  • Sulky steel grey thread. White cotton fabric and grosgrain ribbon for binding.
