My first try out of an oval dresden plate.
For this I used scraps. Cut 22 Blades (see BOM 2012 for pattern for blades. Then I cut 6 rectangles 5"x 2" so that they would be squarer rather than pulling the dresden plate into a circle. Then Cut out an oval for the centre with my trusty plate. (nothing else in the house has been so useful for ovals. If you were to make this a rectangle instead. I would suggest 3 or 5 blades for the four corners. and make the fill in ones for the ends and sides the rectangle blades. rather than tapered. It depends on your size how many you need. I might have a wee fiddle with it
