Drawing Practice

What are you most proud of? Enrolling this course! It is a real treat! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure you have the time to do it and a way to stop it. Maybe a paper or time limit set.I stopped just before my wrist was hurt. It was happy and addictive thing and it proved to stress my wrist.

Q&A with Ralitza

Angela Walters asked:
I love the fact that you filled in boxes. That is the best way to practice!! I love what you did!!!
Ralitza answered:
Thank you! I count on that and play a lot with boxes ! PS I need good confidence I will manage most corner/end of field issues I might get into. So I try to get used to handling getting stack on paper. I am aiming at comfortable handling bigger quilts in a large throat DSM, which is still really small troat. It would be painful to move, break, restart too often. So I am trying to get the most of the inspiration of the beautiful quilting you show. It flows like magic!!!

TerryChase asked:
Thank you for a great demonstration of what Angela said. Gave me encouragement.
Ralitza answered:
Glad it engouraged you! Yes, she is definitely right. What makes it tricky is what stops the process in our heads. Practice makes the difference between being stacked and just doing it, and then to getting better. I haven t quilt in swirls for years and Angelas are specific so it is a new start for me and I draw a lot. Drawing does get easier, Will see how it go by the machine...
Debra Quilts asked:
